This product is a ceramic figurine manufactured using a traditional technique called [slip casting].
It's a method where muddy clay is poured into a plaster mold to form a hollow three-dimensional object,
often used for dolls and vases, characterized by rich expression and a warm finish.
The casting hole visible on the back is proof of this traditional technique.
The highly popular "gliding on ice" design penguin chopstick rests from the same series are also available.
