Singapore Travelogue

シンガポール旅行記

A year ago, I spent New Year's Day 2025 in Singapore.

It was my first time visiting Singapore, and to be honest, I didn't have high expectations. However, as soon as I arrived, I realized I was wrong.

I was completely captivated by the cool weather and beautiful Singapore!

My first trip to Singapore

I pondered over which bag to bring for my Singapore trip, and decided on the Ecorip-dew Flat Tote S.

As I am petite, I always choose small, easy-to-carry bags.

I have bought large bags before, but a friend once told me, upon seeing me walking from afar, "It looks like the bag is carrying you."

Since then, I've opted for mini bags.

Perhaps the passport is something you always have to carry when traveling.

Besides my passport, I also need foreign currency, so I always struggle with which bag to bring when traveling.

But this bag holds so much, even I was surprised!

Sunglasses and a bag-in-bag pouch are also fine!

A book, passport, pen, and notebook (I bring a notebook just in case I need to jot something down during my travels). All kinds of cards fit in without any issues.

Okay, I'm all set to explore the city! I used the subway and bus.

I just learned that in Singapore, you don't need to buy a subway ticket; you can just tap your credit card at the gate to ride the subway and bus! This is so convenient!

Even while waiting 20 minutes for the bus, I lost track of time admiring the beautiful city.

After getting off the bus, I took some photos while passing by the famous Raffles Hotel.

I hope to stay there someday too!

The Ecorip-dew Flat Tote S comes in 3 colors (khaki, black, and red).

I usually buy shoulder straps from other brands, but this time I used it as a tote bag to match my outfit.

Ecorip products are made from recycled fibers, upcycled from plastic bottles that we have used and discarded.

Ecorip not only uses recycled fibers as material but also has other excellent features. It's very lightweight and water-repellent.

It also has cooling properties, which was very helpful in a hot country like Singapore!

Finally, to summarize the benefits:

  1. Upcycled product using recycled fibers

  2. Water-repellent

  3. Cooling & warming functions

  4. Very light

  5. Hand washable

That concludes my Singapore travelogue!
