Designing original molds from scratch
It is common to use widely used molds to produce bento boxes, but this does not allow us to reproduce the distinctive shape of the blocks, so we designed an original mold from scratch.
The vividness of the paintwork brought out by artisans
Craftsmen apply multiple coats of paint by hand, following the techniques of Yamanaka lacquerware, which has a history of over 400 years. By utilizing advanced painting techniques, we can achieve smoother and more vibrant colors.
The reason painting is so nerve-wracking is that subtle changes in the color of the paint occur over time. It is extremely difficult to apply a consistent thickness, and applying it by machine tends to result in uneven color. Reproducing the same color all by hand requires experience and skill.
After much trial and error, we have succeeded in using traditional painting techniques on everyday lunch boxes.

P:BLOCK is based on the concept of fun blocks that can be used in everyday life. It is a brand that focuses on lunch boxes and cutlery that combine playfulness with designs that anyone can enjoy.
We are particularly particular about quality, and our lunch boxes are made entirely in Japan.
P:BLCOK aims to make everyday life more fun and exciting by applying timeless block design to items that can be used every day.
To achieve this, we create specially designed molds and designs from scratch, and we are extremely particular about our plans so that we can reproduce every detail.
